Australia’s premier sporting body, the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) is responsible for providing Australia’s elite athletes with world class facilities including natural turf sports fields. To ensure each field performs to expectations, the AIS have appointed HG Turf as its preferred turf supplier and field contractor.

To date, HG Turf has re-profiled the AIS No1 and No 2 soccer fields and the AIS athletics field. The works involved removing the old surface, reinstating the sand profile within laser control, and then laying washed bluegrass / ryegrass turf in maxi rolls. The contract also required HG Turf to maintain the turf during its establishment.
